Paper is a Renewable Resource
There are many misconceptions about printing and environmental responsibility.
at K and M
- We recycle all our paper waste. for example; in 2012 our production facilities recycled 251 tons of paper - the equivalent of 4759 trees that were not cut. This equates to 22,590 cubic feet of landfill space saved through our efforts.
- All of our aluminum is recycled along with all other metal waste and we're registered with the government.
- We use low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) vegetable based inks.
- We recycle 99% of all of the liquids that we use in our printing presses in our in-house reclamation system. This results in the water coming out of the press cleaner than it goes in.
